MAC Posey Cremeblend blush

Posey is part of MAC's permanent Cremeblend Blush line and is described as a "warm peach." It comes in the usual MAC blush packaging and each pan contains 5.6 grams of product. I got this because this was what Babydoll (Emily Browning) had on in Sucker Punch. I really want to copy her look in that movie!
This was my first MAC blush and first ever cream blush.  I wasn't used to cream formula blushes so I had difficulties blending this on my skin at first. It ended up looking either patchy or overdone. I've found a stippling brush to be really helpful but now that I'm used to it, I just use my fingers. I pat this cream to powder formula over a base, because I noticed it fades when applied on bare skin.  I sometimes use this as a lip tint too.
Posey looks scary and too red in the pan but once applied, it gives my cheeks a pop of rosy color that mimics my skin's natural flush! I am around NC30/ 35 but I think this would suit most skin tones as well. The cream formula also gives the appearance of healthy glowing skin because of the slight dewy finish. I also use this under my powder blushes whenever I want the color to last all day.

My aunt in the US bought this for me so I am not entirely sure if it's sold in local MAC counters.

  • I love it! It gives my skin a natural glow!
